Our main focus is PHP, but we also cover other closely related languages, such as JavaScript. A variety of PHP frameworks are used, depending on the project: we have solid experience in Zend Framework, symfony, ATK, CodeIgniter, Smarty, and most of the common PHP libraries.

JavaScript

JavaScript is a client-side scripting language used to develop dynamic websites. Despite its name, JavaScript has almost nothing to do with Java. Its biggest advantages are speed – usually much faster to download than Flash and Java applets, for example – and the fact that visitors to your website do not need to download any plugins (as with Flash, for example), since most browsers support it automatically.

PHP Frameworks

Frameworks are an essential tool for software developers working on dynamic websites, web applications and web services. They are designed to speed up the development process by providing templates, libraries for database access and many other tools. Developers will not have to write everything from scratch, but rather, can pick ready-made components from existing frameworks and build own functionality on top of them.

There are hundreds of open source PHP frameworks, supported by volunteer contributors. Ibuildings does not favour any particular framework. When we begin a new project, we first analyse your needs and goals and the nature of the application to be built, and after that, choose the best tools for the job.
